Getting Around

This is a lovely area to walk around, so it’s best to leave cabs behind and go on foot. The only site that is at a distance is Soong Ching-ling’s Former Residence, which is a bit farther down Huaihai Lu. Access it via metro Lines 10 and 11 at Jiaotong University. Any of the three Line 1 metro stops (Shaanxi Nan Lu, Changshu Lu, or Hengshan Lu) will land you somewhere in the French Concession area. Line 7 connects at Changshu Lu and Line 10 at Shaanxi Nan Lu.
