Getting Around

Metro Line 1 takes you right into the depths of the Grand Gateway Mall at Xujiahui. The other sights are fairly far-flung, so a taxi is a good idea. If you are going to places like the Shanghai Botanical Gardens, be prepared for a hefty fare. Otherwise, you can get off at Shanghai South Railway Station.
